SHE SAID:
Leaving
Geoff to do his tax in peace & I headed "up the hill"
with camera in hand. I went to Inger Pool on the Kings Tableland Road
first, & got the car into 4WD for the first time in a little
while.
Next
stop was a return trip to Wentworth Falls & this time I actually
saw them...there was no fog in the valley today. On my descent to
Princes Rock Lookout I found some tiny Greenhood Orchids (yay).
I
took the "track less travelled" across to the top of the
falls & went over them (using stepping stones not a barrel!) to
the interesting walk around the cliff face which was hand chiselled
out in the early 1900's.
It
was a lovely but exhausting day with at least 1000 steps...LOL (well
it felt like 1000)!

HE SAID:
I think I have look-out fatigue. I have seen so many look-outs over valleys and gorges that I am not in any hurry to do many more. Hence the day at home while Varena tootled around the hills.
It's a common syndrome, Look Out Fatigue (or LOF as it is known in medical circles). Some are born with it, some develop it in middle age. It can be cured with beer and cake.
