SHE
SAID:
We
are on the move today; heading for the Clare Valley in South
Australia, a halfway point to Tumby Bay, around on the Eyre
Peninsular. It is a long day, & I had hoped to get going fairly
early.
It
was around 9am that we hit the road, with the GPS deciding the best
route was to go to/thru' (!?) Lake Wendouree....WTF!
Anyhow,
there weren't any more hiccups with the route & we got to the
Clare Valley around 5pm. The
owners of the BnB, Cindy & Glen, invited us on the deck for a glass
of wine & chat, a nice way to get to know each other.
Geoff
& I decided on Indian for dinner, & found a very good place
on the main street through the town.
The "other" Horsham.... |
South Australia approaches...is there anyone there? |
Geoff's in trouble already & we are just at Bordertown! |
Tailem Bend car ferry on the Murray River |
The sun is trying to get through |
Interesting clouds & colours on the drive |

Both the B and B, and the Indian restaurant were good. We even took a doggie bag with our leftovers. They will go very nicely tomorrow.
