Victoria
here we come!
We
were on the road by about 9.45am. The rain was down to a drizzle, &
then disappeared by the time we left the ACT.
With
stops at Gundagai & Holbrook for morning tea & lunch, we
rolled into the quaint old village of Chiltern around 3pm. As I
suspected, there was no need to book at the Lake Anderson Caravan
Park. We were the only transiting visitors. There are a few
permanents but the we had the pick of the drive-thru' spots.
We
were set up quickly & had a quiet afternoon, enjoying being back in
Bertie again.
We found this sad looking fella near the submarine at Holbrook.
Geoff moved it (him/her?) to the flowing water, & we realised it
only had 3 legs. It is a Giant Banjo Frog

After heavy clouds all day, the sun shone through right at sunset! |

After 400km our GPS decided to muck us around at the last minute and not take us to the van park. Varena over-rode it and corrected our route to the van park quickly, but really? These things are as much a curse as a blessing.

The burning car on the side of the highway was interesting. And it was a P plater. How do you ring your parents and say that the car is on fire?
