Geoff
& I departed Lawson around 12.20pm, soon after Kath & Lorrie
arrived for lunch. We
were unable to stay on for lunch, as we had an appointment in Bowral with a lady
about a house sitting job in December/January.
It
was a 2 hour drive to Bowral. Karen & Suki the Burmese cat seemed
to give us the tick of approval to do the sit, & I think it will
be great. We continued on to Canberra around 4pm, collecting pizza
for dinner along the way. We got to Farrer around 6.15pm.

I am still really pleased with the fuel economy of the Colorado over the Patrol. We filled up at Pheasant's Nest on the way to Sydney, drove to the Blue Mountains, then to Bowral, then on to Canberra and still have half a tank. My guess is that the Colorado uses only about 60% of the fuel that the Patrol did!
