SHE
SAID:
We
said our farewells to Sophy, & of course Megan & Ike; we were
on the road around 10am.
I
wanted to stop in Bowral to check out the Visitor Information Centre.
I was looking for places to visit, & things to do in
December/January; when we will be there for a month.
We
arrived to drizzly rain in Canberra; luckily we didn't get too wet
unloading the car. Greg & Val seemed pleased to see us when we
got to BUPA, & we had a good chat before it was time for Greg's
evening meal.

HE SAID:
We had no real dramas driving back to Canberra. Unloading our gear and settling back in at Farrer took a while. Then it was down to Calwell to see Dad, and to give Mum a lift home. Good to be back.
One interesting view along the highway home was the skeleton of what looked like a burnt out truck on our side of the road, which got us both wondering and chatting. Then surprisingly, a few seconds later, another burnt out truck that had virtually burned to the ground and was still being doused by the fire brigade, creating a 5km tail-back of traffic. Luckily, the second truck was on the opposite side of the road, and we were not held up at all.
