Geoff
& I had a full day today.
Along
with Tony we headed up to the Brindabella Mountains to look for
orchids. We had success, finding 5 different ones in flower, two of
which were new finds to me! I was very happy with the outing.
On
the way back down we came across a large, 1.5m long Red-belly Black
Snake; I got a few photos with the phone camera, so not great quality.
We
also headed out for dinner & a show in the evening. I had bought
tickets for Bill Bailey way back in July. We had drinks at the
container village bar, but it is a semi-open bar & a storm came
through, making it quite unpleasant, so we didn't hang around long!
Bill
Bailey was very funny; we both enjoyed the show!

Bill Bailey was good. The show was very funny, and entertaining all the way through. The prospect of getting a feed nearby is still a clusterf*#k, but we managed.
