A
damp day greeted us, but we ventured out for a drive around the area
anyway.
We
haven't been to this area before; it is the older part of Googong.
The road sign actually says Fernleigh Park, which was the old name of
the station that was once here. There
are lots of 5 acre & larger properties around the area.
Googong Dam is on the other side of the Old Cooma Road. It is
now abutted by a new suburb of houses which are chocked in like sardines,
you'd think that Australia is running out of room!!!

HE SAID:
The old Googong area is quite a nice area of little valleys and hills. The neighbours are far enough away to barely be heard, which we like.
