SHE SAID:

We had more visitors today, with Jan & Lindsay coming down from Springwood. They had suggested we have lunch in town, so we headed for The Mill. I had been told of this place by a couple of people.

It was a very hot day, & the restaurant, although large & I would say generally "airy", was quite hot, with open windows being the only form of breeze. Lunch was nice, but I think Geoff & Lindsay were happy to move to an air conditioned hotel for a cold beverage & to watch the cricket, while Jan & I checked out the shops in town.

HE SAID:

Jan and Lindsay's visit was good. A good chat and a feed. Though, as Varena said, the restaurant needed a bit of an improvement in the cooling department. It was 38 degrees outside, so with no fans or air-con, the only air was what came in through the fairly small windows at 38 degrees. I was one sweaty bugger!
