SHE SAID:

My plans of going orchid hunting over the weekend have been put on hold, with the temperatures set to soar.

I did a few more chores & preparations for getting Bertie on the road, then headed back to the house for the rest of the day.

HE SAID:

 I zoomed off to Fyshwick in the morning to try and get a replacement for Mum's paper shredder. The machine seems to have lost its oomph and as today is the last day of the 12 month warranty period I thought I'd get a replacement. There were no dramas at the shop, just a simple swap of old for new. So now Mum can shred all the papers she wants.
