Well
the last day of 2016 is here.
Another
busy year for Geoff & I zooming around, Victoria, NSW, South
Australia, & a quick trip to Queensland. The highlights were Sam
& Aaron's wedding, Maddie's 18th Birthday & our
Bertie caravan trips.
But
everything was sadly overshadowed with the slow decline & death
of Geoff's father Greg, in November. At
rest now but never to be forgotten, he was a huge part of the O'Regan
Clan, touching many people with his wonderful personality & love
of family.
Mick
& Jacqui arrived in Bowral in the late afternoon, in Trusty their Kombie.
They decided that we should be honoured with their presence for the
farewelling of 2016 & celebrating the arrival of 2017.
We
had a great night, plenty of food, drink & chatter, sparklers at
midnight.
Here's hoping everyone has an excellent 2017.

I was sent out to get a few things for Mick and Jacqui's visit: mistake. I should know better than to go anywhere near a shop between December 20 and January 1.
Anyway, we had a good afternoon and evening with Mick and Jac, as usual. Varena did her usual awesome job catering for the mob; no-one can say they were hungry! And we were pleased to see the end of what was not a very good year for us in several respects.
