SHE SAID:

Geoff & I headed out around 9am for a walk in the Morton National Park in Bundanoon. Annoyingly there is a fee to access the park here, but there are several lookouts I wanted to see, & an easy hour walk to do.

I wasn't really looking for orchids, as the timing is wrong for this part of the park, but I did spot a Leek Orchid almost flowering & a Tongue Orchid in bud too.
Archie also got out & about meeting new friends & checking out the "Grand Canyon". He's an intrepid little fella!

We also went around to Ross Street, to the BnB that we stayed at on our Honeymoon way back in 1999. It is now a private residence.

Geoff Checking out the Bradman Oval in Bowral

HE SAID:

The schedule of matches at Bradman Oval is published online, but has not been updated since November. So I rang the attached Bradman Museum and they told of the upcoming matches.

Today there was a small T20 carnival with teams from around the district, but the format of the games were modified, and the version being played is called Last Man Stands. I found it a great idea.

Each team has only 8 players. Overs are 5 balls. The umpire scores in real-time using a web-connected device. It was good to watch. Each game goes for about 2 hours, so people with limited time can still play.
