SHE SAID:

We had another full day. After a huge breakfast, we went to Kath's place & helped her unpack her stuff & organise the furniture.

It was a boiling hot day with temperature across Sydney hitting 42C by mid-afternoon. There was no AC, fans, or through breeze into the flat; we were all dripping wet. Geoff & I returned to the hotel for showers, & a cool down before Kathy dropped us off at Central Station. We were off to the Guns 'n' Roses concert at ANZ Stadium, at Olympic Park.

It was a good show, though both Geoff & I thought the sound was distorted at some points through the evening; maybe it was the heat!
The backing line-up of Rose Tattoo & Wolfmother entertained us through the hottest part of the evening... the apparent temperature was 47C. Guns 'n' Roses started late, but played for almost 3 hours!

We eventually got back to the hotel at 1.30am!

HE SAID:

We got dripping wet in our own sweat at Kath's new place. It would probably have been fine if we were not being active, but no breeze plus the work made us bloody hot. We then roasted again at Homebush.

The concert was good, and we had a fun evening. We were too tired to even stop in at a pub and grab a beer! I know! WTF?
