SHE
SAID:
Geoff
& I left Canberra early this morning - 7.30am. We had Col's (Blue
the Shearer) funeral to attend in Leura at midday. It was a very
moving, personal, non-religious service.
There
was a gathering at the Wentworth Falls Country Club afterwards, then we went
down to Lawson to spend the night with Geoff's brother Mick & his wife
Jacqui. It was good to catch up with them; they took our minds off
the day's sad events.

It was quite a sad day. Col's funeral was the day before the 13th anniversary of my brother Bernie's death. Plus Dad's death is still very prominent in our minds, so lots of emotions.
