SAID:
Geoff
& I had a busy day of catching up with friends. We
met my old work colleague Steve, from Darwin, & his wife Jos, at
the Honeysuckle Hotel for lunch. It overlooks the water & we
watched the comings & goings of the port whilst catching up.
After
they left we had a walk along the foreshore then headed to
Islington for drinks with an old friend from Canberra; Nicole.
Both she & Steve & Jos managed be be very complimentary about
our latest Blog Book, which we foisted on them!

Another round of catch-ups had us merrily chatting away with Steve, Jos, and Nicole. It was a good day for a chat. They may be infrequent, but they are still enjoyable.
