SHE
SAID:
Today
is the final “catch-up” with friends day before we head inland to
the “great unknown”!
We
are meeting an old work colleague friend of mine, Jo, & her family,
at the civilized time of 10.30am at Redcliffe. It's been over 4 years
since we saw them, back when they still lived in Darwin. They seem to
be enjoying life in Queensland now.
In
the afternoon Geoff & I headed for the Glass House Mountains
National Park. We checked out several lookouts; the scenery around
here is pretty cool.
Speedie, Erissa & Casey, Me & Jo (and of course Archie) |
Mount Beerwah & Mount Coonowrin |
Mount Tibrogargan |
HE SAID:
After seeing Jo, Speedie, and the kids we had an orchidless couple of wanders around in The Glasshouse Mountains. The walking was a good idea after the large breakfast at Redcliffe.
