SHE SAID:

Julie & Chris farewelled Bruce the dog, & us, & headed off around 9.15am. We are now in charge for 8 days whilst they visit their son in Melbourne.

We had a busy morning sorting out our stuff, & settling in. Then it was catch up time with some shows on TV.

The rain began at some stage through the morning, & bucketed down on & off for the rest of the day & into the evening.

We donned wellies & took Bruce for a walk through the rain-forest that is part of the property here. It was a shorter walk than he usually gets but it was between the showers. Geoff played “tug-o-war” with him afterwards.

After getting ourselves sorted out in the house we watched a couple of shows and just took stock of our new surroundings.
