SHE SAID:

I headed for the “Monster Markets” at Mission Beach in the morning. I was hoping they would be better than the regular fortnightly markets. They were much better, though still not as good as Mindil Beach or Port Douglas.

I bumped into Leah & Gene from Port Douglas, who were down for a couple of days away. They had just arrived, but came over to the house mid-afternoon for a cuppa & a chat.

Mum was around for Skype tonight, surprisingly, as she & John were supposed to be cruising on the Rhone River through France. But there was a major melt-down with British Airways IT system & all flights were cancelled!

I dodged the markets again, but enjoyed having a chat with Gene and Leah. Leah has been a bit crook recently, but she seemed to enjoy the local chocolate and home-grown paw paw, as did we all.
