SHE SAID:

It was an early start today. Geoff & I were helping out at the Frogsafe stall at the Cassowary Festival, Mission Beach. We were there by 8am, with all the market stalls & other Cassowary Festival stalls mostly set up!

It was quite quiet, with a few people stopping by to ask questions. The boss, Deborah, arrived just before 10am. We left her to it around 11am, as we had a 2 hour drive to Cairns ahead of us.

We had an uneventful drive, & checked into the hotel on Sheridan Street about 3pm. It certainly wasn't the best hotel in town, but close to the Private Hospital.

Dinner at the RSL was a roast; a huge meal, though not very warm.

Hmmm...what can I say!

HE SAID:

My attendance at markets is hopefully done for the year.

We had a relaxed evening in Cairns, with a couple of drinks, and then a large dinner at the RSL. My excuse is that I was hoping that the food and drink would help me sleep.
