Tuesday 25th June

SHE SAID:

My final orchid hunt for this area fizzled out when the car decided to make loud warning noises telling us the was a problem with the oil pressure! We had just gone 55km down the road when this happened, but luckily there was a fuel station only 1.5km further on. Geoff bought more oil & filled the car & we headed back to Mandurah & the Holden dealership…

The diagnosis was that the sensor is stuffed, nothing wrong with the oil pressure...the car won’t be fixed until tomorrow though. Anyhow, getting it fixed before we leave on Saturday was a “must do” so it will be done!

Well that was a surprise. The car had only been serviced a month ago so I was not expecting any drama. The warning noise and message on the dash were very clear that there is a near catastrophe around the next bend. It was wrong, but it got my pulse up. And no doubt my wallet lighter.
