I dragged Geoff out “kicking & complaining” (not really), at 7.15am. Martina & Ric had invited us to join them in Northcliffe, with Kerry & Sherryl, to check out the orchids.

It was a full-on orchid day with over 30 different types found & we didn’t get in till 6.15pm! Dorte & Gary had the fire going on our return, & we joined them for a drink, followed by a Thai Green Curry with fish & veggies. Tasty as always.

Up early and on the road again. We had a chatty morning with the others, and Varena was pleased with the many orchids found. We were covered in black streaks from walking through burnt bush, but still managed a friendly drink with Dorte and Gary next to the fire before a quick shower and a tasty curry.
