SAID:
Geoff
& I had a full day out sightseeing today. We
headed through Robertston, stopping at the barely flowing Carrington
Falls & the pretty Nellie's Glen. The views at the Saddleback
Lookout would have been awesome if it was sunny.
Kiama
was crazy busy, but the blowhole performed for the camera nicely. Lunch
& a walk at Bombo Beach was scenic. Even the Little Blowhole did
it's thing when we got there. The little villages of Gerringong &
Gerroa were crowded. Our final stop was at Shoalhaven Heads; we had a
cuppa, though the breeze from the river & across the sandbar was
rather chilly.
We
crawled through the ever-popular bustling village of Berry without
stopping, & headed to Kanagaroo Valley through the
windiest, narrowest of the passes that we have yet encountered.
Luckily
no mishaps on today's jaunt!!!

HE SAID:
It was a good day's touring, and of course, Varena made a nice picnic lunch.
