SHE SAID:

We came through some rain on our drive to Broken Head today, but nothing like what was forecast.

The Broken Bay Holiday Park is the most expensive place we had stayed in yet: $38 per night. It's nothing flash, but cheaper than in Byron Bay! We are right by Tallow Beach, which is always nice. The beach goes all the way to Byron Bay, though we didn't walk all the way, I think it is about 7kms.

HE SAID:

The rain started well after we'd left Bellingen, so we stayed dry. There were plenty of sections of highway that had road works, so that kept the speed down; which suited me fine.
