SHE SAID:

We headed into Sydney today, well Newtown to be precise, to meet up with Aine (3rd cousin of Geoff & Mick's) who's been living in Australia for about 6 years now & her partner Seamus. Mick & Jacqui are also joining us.

We had planned to take public transport but decided against the 2 1/2hr journey with buses, & changing trains & opted for the car which made it in 1hr plus 15mins to find parking!

We had an excellent Thai dinner at the Banks Hotel. The only let down for the guys was the lack of Guinness!

Oddly named place!
Nothing there either!

Lovely old stone building in Rylestone-
Which houses the police these days

HE SAID:

In organising a pub to meet up with an Irish relly I was certain that there would be a Guinness opportunity. However, she selected what is probably the only pub around for miles that does not have Guinness. Hmmmm. Don't worry. I made do.....
