SHE SAID:

We drove up to Lawson to do the Frederica & Fairy Falls loop bush walk. The walking book said it was 7.3km 3hrs in length & easy, the National Parks sign said it was 7.8km 4hrs & medium.

Oh well I said lets give it a go!

As per usual there were many more ups than downs, the falls were small but pretty & there was quite a few muddy boggy traps on the path!

It took us almost 4hrs & knackered me COMPLETELY.

HE SAID:

Varena led me to Lawson having implied that we'd have a pleasant stroll through the bush for an hour or two. But with reality always being harder hitting than daydreams we had 4 hours of what I would call medium grade bush walking. There were trees to scramble over, boggy bits (mud to the ankles), stairs aplenty and steep gravelly tracks. I was made to miss lunch too. That was the worst bit!
