& I headed into Melbourne after lunch today to meet up with Ang.
We headed into the city & had a drink at the Cookie Bar on
Swanston Street; a lovely old place that you'd never know was there
unless someone told you about it.
I
wanted to do the scenic loop around the city on the old Melbourne
trams so we hopped on the next passing which happened to be the one
that broke down near Etihad Stadium in the middle of a down pour!
Typical Melbourne weather we are told. We had a cold wet trek back to
Ang's hotel with a nice feed at the Irish pub across the road.
I
still haven't "Seen" much of Melbourne yet....another day maybe!
