SHE SAID:

The weather was kind to us today, sunny though cool so we decided on a touristing day out. This time we headed to Loch Sport, a very popular town in the holidays for fishing when the town grows from 700 to 4000+ people. There is access across to 90 mile beach & plenty of free camping spots near the dunes between Golden Beach & Seaspray.

We checked out the fishing "dorp" of Hollands Landing & the 1883 Swing Bridge in Sale on the journey too.

Loch Sport has it's very on "Monster"...just like the Scottish version!

Sale's Swing Bridge circa 1883, still in full working order (renovated)
& opens a couple of times on the weekends

90 Mile Beach for the National Park at Loch Sport

Lake Wellington on the land side of Loch Sport-
yes Loch Sport is surrounded by water & I guess that
is why it is so popular in the holiday seasons

HE SAID:

Loch Sport is a little town of about 700 that swells to about 4000 in holidays. Most of the houses looked like holiday homes or holiday lets. Whilst the real estate values are very cheap I'm not even tempted to buy there; the main past time would be fishing, and I know for sure that there are no fish. Otherwise I surely would have caught one.
