SHE SAID:

It's a long weekend here in Victoria & we generally stay at home as there are too many knobs around but we thought we'd have a short drive up to Bruthen to check it out.

We had a lovely drive through the hills & the little village of Bruthen to the Bullant Brewery where Geoff had the taster platter of beer.

For lunch we had pies & pasties from the well known Bruthen Bakery, nice & tasty.

The Bullant brewery must be doing OK. While I did not like their stout the dark ale and pale ale were good; though charging $9 for a 650ml bottle will keep me away.
