SHE
SAID:
We
have wild windy squally rainy weather upon us today, great timing as
I have yesterday's photos to sort through.
I
also made some more savoury scrolls as Geoff was asking about them;
they went very nicely with the homemade tomato & bacon soup!
Great food for chilly weather.

HE SAID:
It is rather hard not to brag about not having to work, but days like today remind me just how lucky we are. As the weather was very ordinary all day we didn't do much. It started with hearing the wind and rain while still in bed this morning, so it was a lazy breakfast in bed and a book, followed by an expedition all the way to the garage mid-morning for a couple of minor things, then watching recorded shows in the afternoon. Had the weather been better we could have done one of a few things on our to-do list but as it was no good we amended our plans. It is a lucky life we lead, at least for now, so like I said, it is hard not to brag.
