SAID:
Another
day on Hong Kong Island, this time doing the Red Route tour through
the CBD. We
also did a harbour cruise & the night tour of Kowloon.
Our
friends Sue & Al had recommended the Felix Bar at the top of the
Peninsular Hotel for expensive drinks with a view. Geoff was prepared
this time, wearing long trousers, so we got in!
With
my Kowloon Lady cocktail costing about $34 au, & Geoff's beer $16,
we only had one each! We watched the 8pm light show across the
harbour ,pretending we were guests of the hotel!!!
The
evening finished at the Temple Street night markets, for a taste of
the Kowloon markets.

Continuing the toilet theme, the men's loo at The Peninsula Hotel has a grand view for the brief time that one is there. It is not such a novelty, such as at Darwin's Buzz Café at Cullen Bay, just a very good scene from the 28th floor.
