SHE
SAID:
The
end of the cricket was on the cards today, but so too was the rain! Al
wanted rain to wash out the day & Geoff was hoping for a few more
wickets so that Australia would win! (The Aussie did win in the end,
though not the series!).
Sue
& I decided to make lunch so the cricket wouldn't be missed, &
went to Tesco's for groceries.
We
had a hard time finding stuff: firstly the cream, which I had to ask
about, was next to the bread....not with the cheese, or milk!!!...
WT...
Then
I couldn't see the Arborio rice for the risotto, till Sue pointed out
that the rices were in “styles of food”, Italian, Thai,
Indian!!!! SERIOUSLY!!??

HE SAID:
Al and I got ourselves ready to head out to lunch, despite the cricket still being on. Though when I found out that the girls had to decided to stay in for lunch I was far from displeased. After all, despite not having tickets to be at the ground, I still wanted to watch it broadcast live on (pay) TV.
And the result proved that I am not the jinx to the Aussie cricket team that was so meanly suggested on Varena's facebook page, which also happens to agree with the team coach Darren Lehman (as he told Varena and I in Nottingham)!
