Sunday 27th September 2015

SHE SAID:

Today was a blast from the past. Geoff & I headed to Aberfeldy to meet up with an old college friend that I haven't seen since we finished in 1982!

Julie & her husband Ian live in Aberdeen, & she suggested that this village was almost half way between where we were coming from & them.

We had a great lunch & catch up. Funny how you slip back into the friendship without any problem!

Our final 3 nights are in Dumbarton, with Loch Lomond to the north & Glasgow to the south. A last chance to see Scotland before heading southwards on Wednesday.

McCaig Tower - Oban

A rich man's folly, but for a good cause as it gave employment to the people of the town
when times were tough

HE SAID:

Julie and Ian were good for a chat. I enjoyed meeting them and watching Varena and Julie gasbag away the afternoon.
