SHE SAID:

Another quiet-ish day. John came over for lunch & stayed the rest of the day. Mum, John & I were off to the theatre in the evening. Geoff wasn't interested, as it was The Mousetrap, & he remembered what happened. I have seen it before too, but couldn't remember, & I also like going to the theatre.

Mid-afternoon I walked into town to the hairdressers. I chose the place I used to go to when I lived here. Not surprisingly it has changed somewhat in the last 30+ years.

Because the others were off to the theatre in the evening we had our main meal at lunch time. Varena presented us with sumptuous steaks with Dianne sauce on the side for those who wanted it. We have not had much steak since leaving Australia, and it was great.
