SHE SAID :
Today's morning
sail along the middle Rhine is called the "Romantic Rhine",
with a dozen or more castles on the cliffs and hills along the
river. Sadly, the mist was quite low and hid some of the castles from
view, but it got better as the day went on.
We docked for
the night at Rudesheim and had some free time to wander the little
village. Mum and l took the cable car up through the vineyard to the
park and lookout, then sampled the local hot alcoholic coffee. We
were then bused to a winery for a Riesling tasting.
Dinner back on
board the boat with the two Canadians , Nancy & Pegi (who was feeling better tonight) was great fun. We were kicked
out of the restaurant at the end of the evening.

HE SAID:
It is a shame that there is no rugby on TV during the week while Varena is away. But I am certainly catching up on a lot of shows that I have been meaning to watch.
