SHE SAID:

Geoff & I headed over to a little village just outside Horsham called Lower Beeding. We were invited to lunch by Shivhaun, an old college friend.

She & husband are great renovators. They get sad, old places & make them look loved again. Not my cup of tea, living without hot water or power for months or years! But their current house is lovely.

We had a good long chat; we haven't seen each other for years. We can't remember how many, but too long.

Varena and I were a touch early arriving at Shivhaun's. It is lucky that she lives across the road from a pub. I tried a local stout before heading across the road to listen to Varena and Shivhaun catch up.
