SHE
SAID:
We
had another quiet day, but Geoff & I did go out to dinner to my
friend Shivhaun's place in Lower Beeding.
She
is vegetarian, & I think Geoff was a little concerned as to what we
would get to eat! But it turned out to be excellent; vegetarian
curry. She had made several different dishes, all of which were very
tasty. Shivhaun & her husband Dickie were great to chat to. They
are keen caravanners & wanted to know all about our travels.
HE SAID:
I reckon that I could be a vegetarian as long as bacon, pork, beef, lamb and chicken were allowed (maybe some other meats too; Kangaroo is nice. Venison perhaps. Not keen on crocodile nor emu. Rabbit VERY occasionally, etc..). However, Shivhaun and Dickie put on a very tasty spread. I was rather impressed with the whole selection. It was really tasty and very filling. Several hours later I was reminded that there were plenty of high fibre elements to the meal, but I'm not saying that in any derogatory way. I enjoyed dinner, and I enjoyed the company.
