for Heathrow today. Our 6 month trip has finally come to an end!
We have decided to do the trip to the airport by taxi, because when we added up the
taxi cost, then train & coach, it worked out cheaper to do the taxi! Plus
door to door with the car, instead of all the mucking around with
public transport, & lugging heavy suitcases onto trains &
coaches.
The
hotel we were at in Heathrow was a "mystery" booking &
turned out to be rather disappointing. It was Sheraton, which I
assumed had a good name.
Wrong! Old & tired is the kindest thing I can say.
