SHE SAID:

Having volunteered my services today, I headed to a National Trust fund raising event at Huntly, an old 1930's house & gardens in rural ACT.
I was told I could help with the Devonshire Teas! Right up my street!

It was a lovely day, not so hot that the cream melted, but by 1pm the scones had all sold out! I had a wander through the house & gardens, taking a few photos along the way!

Geoff & I are went out to dinner with Evan again tonight; his daughter has arranged for a few of us to meet up to celebrate her Dad's birthday.

Dinner out with Evan, Inez, Scott and Daniel was fun. A few new beers before dinner had us primed.
