Geoff & I headed to our friend Evan's place today. It is his 57^th birthday & we were taking him out to celebrate. My first choice of lunch was up at Mount Stromlo; which turned out to be a wasted trip as the restaurant was locked up tight! So we headed to Kingston & ended up at a very nice Mexican restaurant.

The place is owned by an ex-basketball player, that Geoff knew of from his days of going to watch the Canberra Cannons play out at Bruce Stadium. He came out for a chat when Geoff commented on the lovely ribs that we sampled.

Dave Nelson's ribs were very tasty. I have had more misses than hits with my quest for great bbq pork ribs, but these were good. We had a couple of ribs each as an entree, just because, and they were great! I reckon a return visit just to have the ribs is on the cards.
