Geoff
& I visited Rose in Monash for a cuppa in the morning, then I
headed back to Royalla, & Geoff went to Farrer.
We
met up again later in the day & went into Civic for dinner &
the John Cleese/Eric Idle Show.
The
show was very good; they reminisced about the Monty Python days, did
some old sketches, sang a couple of songs. Dinner however was a
“hard ask”. Canberra, why is it SO difficult to have a few
restaurants open on a Saturday night within easy walking distance of
the Convention Centre!

This is a Pobblebonk....
It greeted us on the driveway when we returned from the show

We followed the same people around the Eastern side of Civic, looking for dinner, before catching them again at the hotel near the Convention Centre for bar snack-style food. It seemed that everyone who looked for dinner near to the concert venue had the same idea, and the same disappointment.
The show was good, of course.
