We
were on the road around 9am, for our final leg to Arding. It was just
under 300km to go. Our morning tea stop was in Scone, and told us
something new; Scone is the horse capital of Australia!
The
weather was lovely up till the top of the number 2 Moonbi hill, where
we could see the valley ahead of us was covered in thick, grey, threatening clouds. The temperature dropped from a high of 25C to a
chilly 12C by the time we got to the house sit in Arding! A taste of
winter to come, I think!
Tori
& Missy Cat /Puss /Favour, depending on who you talk to, were there
to greet us. We settled in & had a chat.

HE SAID:
The last leg of our Canberra - Arding trip. Just the very usual bumpy, very bouncy road sections. Varena whipped up lunch in the van at Moonbi, and we arrived at Tori's mid-afternoon.
We always ask about internet data limits when we get to a house sit, as sometimes having two of us online, plus using catch-up services to watch shows, data limits get pushed. When Tori double checked her monthly download limit, then checked what was currently available, she found that she could get double the speed, and double the data, without paying any more per month. So she signed up straight away. It often pays to check these things!
