SHE SAID:

The predicted rain came overnight; enough to make us decide not to go out on my planned trip. We will go tomorrow, as the rain is expected to have passed by then. Instead we headed for town to do a few errands, & then the RSL movie/meal deal again like we did last week. We saw the latest Star Wars spin off, called Solo; A Star Wars Story. It was a couple of hours of light entertainment.

Coming out of the cinema it was sunny again, but blowing a cold brisk breeze....winter is almost upon us I think. There were photos on Facebook of Braidwood NSW, which is about 45 minutes from Canberra, blanketed in light snow today...Brrrr.

HE SAID:

After partly installing the new heater in the van yesterday, this morning I set all the connections up, temporarily, to give it a test run; and it was fine. Hooray! I'll finish it all when I next have a lazy day at the house.

Our trip to Armidale today was quite productive. I got a few things done that needed doing, and got lunch and a movie too. Our lack of foresight, though, meant that we had no Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs for the movie. Dammit.
