SHE
SAID:
“A
rain event”, as the news & social media sites like to call them
now, is due this afternoon, so we had a morning drive around the area &
managed to get back before the weather hit!
We
went to Petrudor Rocks, the township of Kalannie, Xantippe Nature
Reserve & we crossed the non-existent “Rabbit Proof Fence”
twice.
The clouds were looking more & more ominous as we zoomed
back to the van, arriving before the rain hit. It continued raining &
thundering for the rest of the afternoon & into the evening.
It
is nice being tucked up in Bertie with the heater going as the rain
lashes the van.

A fruitless morning orchid search was followed by a cozy afternoon in the van.
