Wednesday 24th July

SHE SAID:

We headed out on a Nature Reserve tour to the east of Carnamah. We managed to find 3 orchids flowering & many Spider Orchids coming up; once again not open...foiled again. There didn’t seem as many wildflowers out though.

Geoff reached another milestone today...well done hubby. Our lives were forever changed by your decision 9 years ago today. All for the better I should add.

The tiny township of Perenjori

Seen today...The "alien" looking one on the right is a Spider Orchid so close to opening
(I hope to see it open it fully flowering on Sunday!)
HE SAID:

Hooray! Today is the ninth anniversary of my last day of work. I was offered a redundancy package due to a radical overhaul of how things were done. Despite the latest changes all reversing those 2010 decisions, at the time I was offered, and accepted, a redundancy. And here we are. Nine years of travels. Amazing!
