SHE SAID:

Today we climbed Mount Chudalup; it was there so had to be done! The weather was glorious & views across the bush & to the ocean were lovely.

A mostly fruitless orchid hunt at Windy Harbour, but thankfully our stop at the Curly Locks (Sun Orchids) was worthwhile. The previous 2 stops we had found 2, then 3, budding flowers but this time we eventually found 18, with one double headed! I think about 2/3rd’s of them were flowering; cool.

For some reason Varena keeps making me climb Western Australia's big rocks. Today was another one. I must be getting to the end of her list of rocks - surely! They are not my favourite thing in the world to climb, but the views are usually good.
