Geoff checked the rain gauge first thing this morning & we had 8mm of rain. A surprise that it was that much.
The only outing for the day was a Guinness run done by Geoff; yes, it is St Patrick’s Day!
Other than that, it was a quiet, overcast & cool day at the house. Oh yes, the rain did bring out loads of Portuguese Millipedes; how they get into the house is a mystery with all the doors closed, but in they came!

HE SAID:
There were other reasons for heading out this morning, but Guinness was certainly on my list. We needed a couple of things at the supermarket, plus I wanted to get the cash for cans recycling bins emptied before I go to Canberra.
The first ODI against India started really well for Australia, then turned to crap as we got all out for well under 200. Needless to say that India won. There are two more matches, though staying up to the end is a struggle for this old bloke.
