SHE SAID:

We decided to get Bella the cat checked over by the vet. It was a good job we did as the vet said the flea pills that we gave her weren’t strong enough. She is allergic to the flea bites & has got dermatitis from all the licking, too.

The vet gave her 2 injections & some strong tick & flea treatment, so hopefully she’ll be OK now. The bill was rather a shock at almost $400, but $150 of that was for a Sunday consultation! Eeek!

But, peace of mind for us now, so worth the cost.

HE SAID:

Bella was surprisingly compliant getting into her carry cage. At the vet's it was a bit different, with a few hisses and stressed sounds. Luckily, she seemed to forgive us for the morning's drama and joined us on the lounge a few times during the day.
