SHE
SAID:
I
had a day out randomly driving & stopping at possible orchid
spots in the bush. I think all the stops I made had one form or
another of the Bunnies. That was all I saw in flower, maybe 4
varieties, but all Bunnies. There were some other signs of things to
come, Greenhoods, Red Beaks & Suns.
I
took roads I’d not done before on the way south, then a different
route back.
PS
I did watch a couple of hours of the coronation, a pretty speccy
event, though the religious stuff seemed a bit OTT!

Non-orchid sights today. This dinky little CWA (Country Women's Assocation) hut was in the middle of nowhere! |

HE SAID:
Five days since I
stopped the cream. Today was the first day since I stopped applying
the skin treatment cream that I have not taken any pain killers. It
is no longer painful, but still is very annoying. The hint about
taking antihistamines to stop the itching didn't seem to work, so I
stopped taking that after two days.
Luckily for me there
were two footy matches on TV today. I am no monarchist, so the only
interest from my perspective is the historical aspects of the
coronation. After watching the footy in the evening there was still a
fair bit of coverage from London. So, I sat with Varena for a while,
wondering why they used so much flowery, and repetitive, language to
say what could have been said in a quarter of the time. It actually
looked like it would have quite an arduous ceremony to get through,
for all involved, even the guests. |
