SHE SAID:
Jean, Bill & Tobias are coming down from Perth today & Evelyn & I are showing them around a few of the orchid spots we know. I was very grateful that Evelyn was kind enough to come out as this is her “home turf” & she has a much better knowledge of the areas than I do.
We found 19 different orchids throughout 5 different areas, & they seemed happy with the day. Both Jean & Bill are well into their 80’s & did extremely well with the walking. It was after 5.30pm by the time I got back to the house. I was welcomed with a toasty warm lounge & yummy smells of Bolognese warming up for dinner.

HE SAID:
There were things to do around the house and van but nothing too arduous. I managed to watch some of the NRL that was on TV, as the AFL have the weekend before the finals off, which is daft to me. And, as Al had raved about some of the new England cricketers I watch a bit of the second test against Sri Lanka. It was good to see some cricket again.
