Wednesday 16th October

SHE SAID:

Geoff & I met with Evelyn & Ian out at Herron Point for a look around for the later flowering orchids. I was surprised at how many were flowering; we found 18 different ones.

It was only a 1/2 day look around & we were back for lunch. I found 2 ticks on my clothes when we returned, luckily none on my skin, nor Geoff’s. All the clothes were put on a hot wash & tumble dry to kill any we may have missed.

I made up 2 trays of sandwiches to take to the WANOSCG meeting tonight. It is the 50th Anniversary of the club forming & a few of us are contributing to the supper.

Clubbed Snail (a new one for me!)

HE SAID:

I joined the nuts and had a half-day orchid wander. My chocolate brownie for elevenses was well deserved with my several orchid spottings.
