Quiet country living, with the sound of Cocks crowing, hens clucking, & bird songs is pretty much all we hear out here!
Yes, same again. Geoff up early for the final day of the 4th cricket test in Melbourne, & I lazed in bed till 9am finishing my latest book.
My computer got its daily workout with me getting through the bulk of the October orchid filing.
The HUGE T-Bone Steaks, salad & wedges were on the dinner menu tonight, and no I didn’t finish mine!

HE SAID:
My last really early start for a few days. The 5th test in Sydney starts on Friday, so I'll resume my dawn risings then. I really enjoyed this match. It helps that Australia won, and now lead 2-1, but at various stages all results were still possible. There were also some controversies, exciting play, and a record crowd.
After the test, and before the BBL, we ducked out for a quick drink at the local pub, and to top up my beer supplies, of course. Unfortunately, the pub had no ice for Varena's drink, and the bar bloke (who may be the new-ish owner who rescued it from closure) seemed to be overwhelmed by the 7 or 8 customers who all turned up at the same time as us, due to 3pm being opening time. So, we bought take-aways and went back to the house.
The T-bone steak for dinner was great, as usual.
